Isaiah 42:3

" bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice;"

Before the school started, we jumped into our van and went Disneyland. Before our empty nest comes, we decided have fun together. It was the first time, I rode all the rides in Disneyland with my children. I promised if my son held my hands while we walk in the Disneyland, I will ride everything they ride. I was able to hold 'my teen son's hand'. It was a quite a miracle. I thought my children will be 'teenagers' forever. I did not know their sweetness would ever come back. I can see my children are maturing.

Flowers were everywhere.

Specially, roses were beautiful.

As we used to play games in our van, we went back to the time when we were all younger and played games. Time is fleeting in front of my eyes. As I go through the different season of my life, looking back, I thank God for his grace and mercy toward our family.

Even if I am different season of my life, my memory for my son, Samuel has not been faded in my heart, rather more and more vivid as my time is coming closer to see him soon.

Definitely children are precious gifts from God.  On the way home, God showed us another beautiful sunset to us. Sun was setting behind us as we were driving from California.

And God showed us another rainbow in a dry sky.

I cannot stop taking about Arizona sunsets. I needed a break from cooking today so I decided to have a pizza tonight for our family. As I was going to pick up the pizza for our children, I felt like I was driving toward a large movie screen. There was a hill that I had to drive over and the road lead me traveling west facing into the sunset. The color was breath taking. Often I do not have the right words to describe the beauty of nature God displays for us. His faithfulness toward us is steadfast. In spite of what is going on in this world, God still paints the sky with his love without reservations.  I was struggling with painting a sunset today, and then I saw the master’s art on the largest canvas, the sky. I was almost in tears when I saw the turquoise color between the bright red and orange color of the clouds. The color was so vivid that I was almost confused about whether it was an actual painting or real sky. To listen to the program, click In His Love.

July 3rd was Heavenly because of beautiful fireworks and the moon that was so bright that I almost saw a rainbow of color around it. I wondered about the coincidence of the last week’s podcast and seeing the actual moon with the rainbow color. It was the first time I have noticed the beautiful moon with rainbow colors on July 3rd of this year. The greatest gift of this nation is the freedom of speech. The greatest sin in our nation is neglecting our true freedom. When we lose the freedom of speech, we are going to lose everything. Please visit our website to see pictures I took of the moon.

Last weekend, our family visited California. Unusual events always surprise us. While Steven and I went for a walk in a garden, two little girls were laying on their bellies and staring at something under a tree. Because bushes covered the scene, I could not recognize what it was they were so interested in. I knelt down and looked inside the bushes. It was a mother duck sitting on her nest with seven tiny babies. We were excited to see the sight with some bubbling joy that I could not explain. I was trying to take pictures, but I could not capture the scene because bushes covered the ducky family. While I was trying to angle the camera into a better position, the camera battery went out. I was exclaiming, “awe?”. With disappointment, I had to walk away from the scene. Because the garden was so big, I worried that I might not be able to see this ducky family again. Our room was far away from the ducky nest.
Days went by quickly. I forgot about the ducky family. After a lunch, I asked Steven to get more batteries just in case.
Hours later, unexpectedly I opened the door. Would you like to know what I saw? It was the same ducky family with seven babies. It could be the different ducky family, but the numbers were the same; seven tiny ducklings with the loving mom. They lined up in one line and walking down to a pond in the garden that was on the property. The Mother duck slipped into the pond first, and her babies followed her. Peacefully they were swimming around with fishes in the pond. That moment was just like a Disney movie. Good thing I got the batteries and had the camera on my shoulder at the moment when the ducky family was diving into the pond. I finally took pictures of the precious scene.

Rainbow

Psalm 68:11 encouraged me during my devotional time.
11 The Lord announces the word,
and the women who proclaim it are a mighty throng:
12 “Kings and armies flee in haste;
the women at home divide the plunder.
13 Even while you sleep among the sheep pens,
the wings of my dove are sheathed with silver,
     its feathers with shining gold.”
14 When the Almighty scattered the kings in the land,
it was like snow fallen on Mount Zalmon.
As I was getting up at 6:00 in the morning, I just noticed a rainbow light that was reflected from the window. Bright sunlight flowed through, and hit a mirror in my room and reflected on my bed with rainbow colors. It probably was there before, but I never noticed it until today. I cannot describe the beauty of it. I took a picture of it for me to remember. As I opened my manuscript for the next week, I noticed that it was about the covenant of God, the rainbow. When we know God, who is the Creator, is with us intimately, we become calm. In Isaiah 30:15, it says “in the quietness and trust is your strength.” When God delivered Israel from Egypt, the last plague was the most powerful plague. It happened during a quiet moment when every creature was in deep sleep in the middle of the dark night. God did not even use Moses that night.  Only people who put the blood of a lamb were saved. Noah's Story

I have update about the birds in our back yard.

In the middle of my quite time with the Lord, I got a phone call from Steven. Looking back, I see how God orchestrated this interruption to his great glory.

While I was on the phone I looked outside of window. There sat the mother bird on the top of the canopy. She stood straight up and peered at the tree, looking at her nest. It was a beautiful sight. I went  outside and quietly approached the bird. There were two, a beautiful baby and the mother sitting together, hiding from intruders. God wanted me to witness the beautiful scene, because I was about to record the message about Noah. At that moment I felt a rain drop, right on cue. As always, God's timing is impeccable.

Often we miss those special moments that God prepares for us. We are busy arguing, running and chasing. The real beauty is not made by us, but is created by God for us. I see now that the bird, the phone call and the raindrop prepared me to speak about Noah.

But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.(Genesis 6:8)

Peach Tree

We are justified by grace of God.
We are sanctified by grace of God.
We will be glorified by the grace of God.

God's love is very gentle, but firm.

The peach tree was filled with flowers.
Steven said all these flowers will turn into peaches.

A month later,
he took me to our back yard and showed me all of the peaches.

Every single flowers seemed turn into peaches.
I am looking forward to taste these peaches.

I opened my Bible and found verses in a fresh way. Many believe healing is not possible for those who experienced an abortion. I do believe God can do anything. Jesus said, “My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. And also he said no one can snatch them out of my father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” (John 10:29) Here is the word, snatch is harpazō in Greek means to seize, carry off by force, to seize on, claim for one’s self eagerly, to snatch out or away, catch up, take by force, catch away, pluck, catch, pull. Even if Satan try to do any of these, he is the one who is seized to do any of these to us. Even if Satan can try to claim us for himself eagerly, he cannot take what Jesus claimed. Jesus claimed us as His. God said in Isaiah 49:16,  "See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;"

God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

HOPE

Who can bring hope to one who is hopeless?

Only author of life!

Jesus

Only lover of our soul!

On a hanging basket, I found two eggs, a miracle of life!

We do not get confuse about this!

So sweet to watch love of a mother bird.

Here is their mother!

My son and daughters! May God bless you that you will get to be appreciated having children!

I will cherish them and love them.

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. (Psalm 127:3)
